Impact of Social Media on Workplace Dynamics: Post 5
Cloud storage is
already being used widely among the general population as well as major
companies and organizations who are using it to manage content on the web (Singer,
2015). It was reported in a recent study that cloud storage has enormous
benefits such as disaster recovery, centralized data management and cost
savings (Singer, 2015).
By 2030, cloud
storage will be used among most or all the major organizations for
content-management and will enable the employers and managers to retrieve important
data through the fast-paced search functions, as well as, set access
permissions only given to the necessary staff (Singer, 2015).
By 2030,
workplaces will be more organized with the help of cloud-storage and its
information management functions (Singer, 2015). All employees will be given
access to the company documents without wasting time of higher authorities (Singer,
2015). This trend will induce autonomy in the employees.
ReplyDeleteI wholeheartedly agree with your post. In 2030, both small and large companies will gravitate towards using cloud storage to store their online files. Cloud store will give these companies the flexibility to access their data wherever they please (Brooks, 2014). In addition, the servers also take up less room than conventional store, and therefore there is also cost-savings as companies do not need to have a dedicated storage area (Brooks 2014).
